I have just installed 64studio version 2.1, 32 bits version. I have a graphic card GeForce 7600GS, which works, but the resolution cant be better than 800x600. I thought I should install some drivers for this card, so I started to find some with synaptic. The problem is that there are no repositories in /etc/apt/sources.list, so nothing at all is found. After some search I found info at the page: http://www.64studio.com/faq_user I added deb http://apt.64studio.com/64studio/stable/ 64studio main into source.list and found some nvidia pkgs. nvidia-kernel-2.6.21-1-multimedia-amd64 nvidia-glx After the installation of these, no nv or nvidia is added into /etc/X11/xorg.conf. I rebooted the the system and had some errors during boot, but no changes in the graphics.. So the questions are: Which repos are needed? How can I change resolution on the screen/install the correct drivers for the card? Thanks! Jonas

After the installation of the packages you have to change the driver name manually to "nvidia" in 64 Studio 2.1 in the xorg.conf
