Hi, I successfully installed Reaper under wine, but under midi devices I can't see any device. Is there possible to register midi under Reaper, using virtual keyboards or usb keyboard like M-Audio Oxygen? Have I to configure wine to have Midi? Please help!

Hi Zoolgoth, We are currently working on the basis of the 3.0 release, and will spend some time on the windows side of things during the release candidates when most or all of the packages needed are available in the ISO. Hang in there... Cheers, Quentin

Hi Zoolgoth, I noticed that my hammerfall drivers were not appearing in wine reaper as well. Looking in winecfg I could not see any ALSA driver on the Audio tab, only NAS. Looking at packages after searching for wine in synaptic shows libwine-alsa, which on my fresh beta 3 install is not installed. I installed this which required some updating of more components. But now reaper shows the necessary midi ports you may expect. Hope this helps, jonathan adams leonard

First sorry for English errors in the precedent post. I forgotten to mention that I'm on 64 Studio Beta 3. Under wine audio properties I only see NAS as audio device, and there's no Midi information. Midi is fine in native linux application. I can also record audio track in reaper , using for example LinuxSampler. But I can only record audio signals. I'd like, for example, to record LinuxSampler midi in Reaper , so I can edit later. I know I can use Rosegarden etc... to record midi with LinuxSampler. But how about vst plugins, like Kontakt? Maybe it's possible using VSThost and a linux sequencer.... Please could someone be so kind to give me a hand?
