Shutting down an unresponsive app

Does 64studio have any way to force an unresponsive application to shut down (e.g. like the Task Manager in Windows) ?

Hi, If your desktop is still responsive, type xkill into a gnome-terminal then click on the application window border with the skull and crossbones mouse icon. Cheers! dave
